The key was keeping it simple and focused on solving one specific pain point.
Validation Strategy
I reached out to 50 people in my target market through LinkedIn and Twitter:
- 50 cold messages sent
- 12 agreed to test the prototype
- Their feedback was invaluable
This early validation gave me confidence to continue.
The First Sale
On day 28, I launched on Product Hunt. The third comment was from someone asking for a paid plan. That became my first $49/month customer.
"I'd pay for this right now" - That comment changed everything.
